My booth buddy, the amazing paper artist Jackie Huang, and I will be tag-teaming CTNX2015 and Designer Con 2015 this year! Two very different shows, two very different industries, but amazing stuff to see and a great time to be had at both!

Update (15.07.07) ~ If you time this right, and prostrate yourself within the appropriate house of worship, you can get these signed by the Lady herself.

They’re already signed by yours truly because I sign everything I complete with pride. Assembled a bookcase. Signed. Ate my vegetables. Signed (and washed off). Re-filled the travel-sized shampoo, soap, and conditioner bottles. Signed, signed, signed!

If you wanted the prints unsigned…well, can’t help you there. But alongside us will be some wonderful, AMAZING artists (my friends, my colleagues, my countrymen, but mostly total strangers…albeit wonderfully talented total strangers). You’re more than welcome to purchase an unsigned print from a more emotionally-stable-artist-who-doesn’t-obsessively-sign-everything and ask Renée to sign that. (Satisfaction not guaranteed. Results may vary. But, seriously, scope out the other booths and tables. The sea of talent is unending).

It’s been over half a year since I started this project, huh? I wasn’t really consistent on working on him since I was busy working on this monster with my team:

But now both school and personal projects are done, and I’ll be having Megabot tag along with me at SDCC this year.

And yes, he’s detachable and has “magnetic bearings.” Had to really separate him in the first picture, otherwise, his magnets would have brought him back together.

(quality finish isn’t all that great, but I’ll fix him later if I ever feel like laboring over him again)
